First thing that came to mind is: Have any of these farms tried Ivermectin instead of just killing off millions of chickens?

Also, would spreading diatomaceous earth in the chicken yards and mosquito prone areas help?

Hard to say but anything would be better than killing off thousands or worse yet millions of birds without first exhausting every possibility for killing the disease.
