I wonder how many on this thread realize that we have no constitutional right to vote for president. Constitutionally, each state will determine how such a selection is made, and electors will be chosen to attend the Electoral College. Of course every state has chosen a democratic process to determine a group of electors and each elector is bound to represent that state's commitment.
That is the Constitutional principle that the Goron 'Rats were up against in Florida in 2000. Naturally they expected the SCOTUS to ignore that and declare them the winner. They still cannot believe that the law of the land prevailed over their demands.
