🚨British Virgin Islands Premier Arrested On Cocaine Charges in U.S. Sting Operation🚨
🔹The premier of the British Virgin Islands & the director of the small Caribbean territory’s ports were arrested at Miami-Opa-locka Airport, by federal agents.
🔹Andrew Alturo Fahie, BVI’s premier & Oleanvine Maynard, manager director of the port authority, were taken into custody by DEA agents.
🔹The foreign officials were arrested after they met with undercover DEA agents posing as cocaine traffickers to check out an alleged shipment of $700K in cash on a plane that they believed was destined for the British Virgin Islands. The DEA agents were posing as members of the Mexican Sinaloa cartel.
🔹A third person, Kadeem Maynard, the son of BVI’s port director, was also arrested in connection with the case, but not in Miami. 🔹All 3 defendants are charged with conspiring to import more than 5 kilos of cocaine into the United States & conspiring to commit money laundering.
