The common thread I think I see with the current rash of food related fires is that the ones that seem to have similar causes are meat packers. Coincidentally, the last guy they were looking for in the Redmond, OR Horse factory fire (about 2002) was finally arrested, 20 years later. My suspicion is that he no doubt has vegie chewing friends who want to mark his arrest or maybe even start a new round of mayhem? Now, if a granola factory goes up my theory might go with it.
I started to do a dive on the fires in 2022.
I got thru 3 - two were noted as “accidents” and one was not yet resolved.
Doing the search was a PITA so I figured someone might have done all this already.
