If I knew they were going to try that again I'd go sign up for that then burn the ballots after taking a pic at the drop-off. Then go get some more.

I know I've told the whole story here before. The short version is that I learned this from my parents in 1956 (!!!) Mom said flat out that the Democrats paid two dollars to the republicans one. Much to Dad's chagrin. He voted Democrat because the Dems were "For the little guy".

It is notable that in those days you could get pretty buzzed, if not actually drunk, on two dollars.
