:::::No wonder there is an attempt to tear down the Constitution. The negative rights aspect is genius. If it isn’t in the Constitution then the States get to decide.:::::

Soetoro has a disdain for the Constitution and refers to it as "a charter of negative liberties". Instead of a guidance for the restraint of what government can do to its citizens, he wants it to be a description of things government can give you, with all the constraints attached to that level of giveaways.

Central planners plan centrally, so why would they want the states to act as incubators for American freedom? They would lose central control. They want all aspects of life controlled from Washington, DC.

I guess I fall in the originalist camp. If it ain’t in the Constitution then the States decide.
