I confess that I’ve never been worried that the conflict in Ukraine would escalate to nuclear war since I don’t believe Biden is really in charge and the devolved government would protect the world from such an event. It’s an amazing coincidence that, following Chris Miller’s visit, there are now suggestions of a peace agreement.
Also reported is the news that individual US states are refusing to send more weapons to Ukraine, as requested by Biden, because it’s depleting their own supplies to dangerous or non-existent levels. This may hasten the advent of peace as the Ukrainian army and the nazis run out of weapons. Some European countries have drawn the same line in the sand.
