Everybody Relax. It isn’t going to happen.
The insulting keywords where ever we post are clearly acceptable on this site,
and well within the rules, it seems. In any case, they remain.
Entering into threads to post insulting keywords and even posts on threads we
create or post in, just to harass us is also fine, as long as it’s Humblegunner
doing it (as long as he’s not posting harassment posts here in these Q threads,
They don’t want you all jumping ship at once.) The community has been well
trained in the futility of reporting his stalking and harassment behavior outside
of these threads, anyway. Tell me I’m wrong about that, too. It’s certainly not
worked for me.
None of that is compatible with Truth Social’s reason for being, by any stretch
of the imagination, so there will be no mutual endorsement under these
circumstances. Q positive and involved folks operate Truth social, as has
been more than conclusively demonstrated.
This site’s management clearly wants little to do with any of that.
(Although we’ve been told HG doesn’t make the rules, whatever rules we’ve
been living under that have allowed this harassment, still remain, and create
a hostile environment for too many of us.)
Trying to get FR on board with what makes Truth Social great, and witnessing
how you all are still treated here has taken a heavy toll on my heart, and now
my apple watch has begun complaining about that.
I want to make the most of the time I have left, and I have lost this battle.
Before I lose my life as well, I am moving on from this issue, hoping to live to
witness the end of this movie.
On Truth Social, when the demons finally get themselves signed up, at least
they can be muted or blocked if endlessly telling everyone how retarded you
are and how badly you need your A$$ kicked. There is no escaping some
people here if you leave the protected threads.
It’s OK, but I’m still not inclined to apologize for making the attempt to get
those policies changed. I’d still like the (still protected) IDs of every
Qtard keyword insult poster, but that also isn’t going to happen.)
We are not allowed to know for sure where that harassment comes from,
whether from one or many.
Telling us could harsh the mellow of our harasser(s) (,again) and make us
unacceptably “Comfy” while others add their charm to that of trolls and fill
these threads with sauceless unhelpful fiction that serves to distract or worse,
give red meat to the Qtard case for our detractors. It’s likely that’s not on
purpose, but come on, man! Everyone here should understand by now, the
need to be highly skeptical of sauceless, feel good, unlikely fiction.
May the ‘FRee” chains upon us rest lightly, none the less.

By the way, does anyone know who owns the hardware Free Republic runs on
now? What company it is that is providing the Cloud service for FR?
Who owns them? Who their major investors are?
(I was surprised to hear that it is no longer FR owned hardware, and that the
operation has been outsourced.)

I've never used a platform for years and then decided to make it compatible with another platform. It looks like that conversion is hard and it doesn't work.
I have seen those keyword trolls on threads I post for years and it seems to do absolutely nothing to inhibit the sharing of content. Many people skip over them and aren't aware they exist. In all seriousness, my target audience for my threads excludes those who make up their minds about issues based on keyword insults.
With all that goes on any given day, I've thought that no one (Admin, Jim) would have time to manage non-essentials like keywords. I think those who post keyword insults have reached the limits of their oratory prowess and fall silent until I post another thread to which they can retype the same keywords they always type. Just my take on it.
I have trolls who don't like me, and who insult me everywhere they find me. Some I have learned contribute nothing in terms of content or enlighentment, so I have found ignoring them works well. Similar to garbage in-garbage out; they contribute nothing so I try to 'donate' nothing to their attention seeking.
Some trolls labor to confuse others and for this reason I sometimes I debate them. But frankly those who really enjoy attacking me aren't my idea of role model patriots that others want to 'follow' and I think they, too, just aren't worth the time and effort to address them.
I cannot claim any clairvoyant talents so I really couldn't tell you what this site's management thinks and why it does what it does. Observing things that happen, my default reasoning is that he's got years of experience, success and knows what he's doing, even if I sometimes don't like it. I can't say I have more knowledge/experience/faithfulness/commitment or contribution to free speech than the board owner, so I don't have advice to give him.
This platform works well for me personally, and I'm grateful for its patience in allowing a controversial topic like ours to exist, something that is extremely rare in the wild. I'm filled with gratitude, not indignation. I thank God for Free Republic and its interepid owner. May God bless him.
