She’s quite a pedestrian writer but that’s not the type of writer she is. Her creation of a consistent self-contained world is genius.
That's what makes fantasy and science fiction so difficult -- keeping track of the rules and details of the created world must be mind-boggling.
I have seen all three Fantastic Beasts movies and liked them all and I hope they continue the story. Dumbledore gay? Yeah, but it wasn’t nauseating. It kind of fits with Harry Potter as well, so I didn’t mind it as I didn’t feel it was forced on me. I think JK’s trans comments may have spawned the cancel mob to resist seeing the films. That in itself is just gd ridiculous. She’s a creative genius. They are her characters and her world. I hope she doesn’t sell out like Lucas. I was OK with the Star Wars sequels overall except for #8 really had it’s own set of WTF moments of wokeness.
