LOL....EV can only take you so far......you either dont travel much, or you have other cars to take you further.....or you have lots of time to re charge.

Yes, I have a Tesla…it’s my second one, as a matter of fact. May I point out that you can’t drive your ICE-powered car across the country without spending more than ten minutes refueling?
Tesla has a global charging network. On the road trips I’ve done, the computer tells me where to stop and recharge, and for how long at each stop. I will wager that I was correct and that you have never so much as sat in a Tesla, much less owned one. These cars have ranges in the hundreds of miles, and are extremely fast and fun to drive. This is coming from a guy who has owned more than 200 cars and motorcycles, including a range of exotics. The Tesla is still my favorite daily.
My best friend has a Tesla....Yes I have ridden in it many time, but she also has 5 or 6 more cars that she likes better including a Mazaretti.

We travel in a Mercedes Sprinter van set up for long distance touring. It has 280,000 miles. We traded our Prelude also set up for touring when it had 340,000 miles. We have visited all 50 states and in our van have visited all but two twice and many more than three times. We have visited all the Canadien provinces except those on the eastern coast
Our detailed knowledge of America and her people come as a result of having traveled all over the country several times.

We too have travelled quite a bit in America, not as much as you.....most of our long travel has been abroad.....I think we have visited 84 countries and have lived in London.

Home made Sprinter RVs are sort of a cult and the diversity is mind boggling.Everybody ends up with more or less the same thing but the manner of accomplishment is very diverse
Aside from the electrical stuff, most of the materials came off the shelf at Home Depot and Lowes
