That is funny. Almost everyone that drove older cars back in the 1970s & 80s in NYS had floor boards that eventually rusted out. Everyone had to repair their floor with pieces of sheet metal.

I never saw one with that many license plates though!

Now you can buy replacement panels for most popular cars from Taiwan. They 3D scan the original and build stamping dies. You can even get a complete new Mustang and Camaro body shells welded together by an outfit in Florida.

Up here in Vermont, there are more than a couple of uses for old license plates.
