“Syracuse was named for the “saltine warrior”.”

That’s an interesting tidbit! I used to live east of Syracuse in Fayetteville for a short while. Spent five years in Ithaca, too.

I went to SUNY Morrisville my first two years of college. We always drove through Fayetteville on our way there and back.

Then I went to SUNY ESF and Syracuse University my junior and senior year. Right on the south side of the Carrier Dome. Lived in the SW side of Syracuse for two years right near the Fayetteville border.

When I was one year old to four years old I lived in South Lansing, NY. Right on Cayuga Lake north of Ithaca. We moved to Orchard Park(home of the Buffalo Bills) when I was four.
