wow cool deal- gotta check our warranty then- thanks or the info-
If I have a flat on a major expressway I would likely call roadside assistance. I’ve been fairly lucky over the years. I’ve been able to catch leaky tires in time to drive the car to a tire shop. I’ve had 2 or 3 flats over the years and they occurred while parked.
Understood. Pity .
I had a friend who had a Chevy with a big straight 6 banger. That would pull a loaded horse trailer with ease.
Now that is Yankee ingenuity.
Good to see people in the Northeast Kingdom doing something other than skiing at Jay Peak and riding snowmobiles 10 months a year.
So, the worst that could happen is parent getting a *stern* talking to by a cop or a dirty look.
I have a Hyundai Santa Fe which, a tow guy tells me, is close to also being banned for towing from a list of nanny state cars. Near impossible to get it on the truck; as the MORON engineers lock everything down, on an electrical issue. Car won’t start? Make sure you can’t get into your car thru the hatch too, that makes sense. MORON engineers can warn me to keep hands on wheel, or, its time for coffee brake thru messages ... but they can’t get the car started at 15,000 miles.
I have been trying to stop mine from barking at every bird, squirrel, turkey or deer that walks through the yard. We shop a lot online so there are plenty of delivery trucks to generate barking episodes.
One shouldn't have to consume gasoline just to roll the windows down while waiting for someone. They should, and used to, operate without the engine's computer have to to be running.
But to each his own. Few notice how stupid our leaders actually seem to be.
“Back in my mis-spent youth, I had a rail type dune buggy that was about 1/2 day work from being a competitive race car.”
Somehow I missed this tread lots of good topics.
Just a bit off topic but years ago had the chance to camp out on the Padre Island National Seashore several times (sex in the dunes is not like the movies that gritty sand is not good)
Many times waking up in the night with really tricked out pickups going down the island passing by. Get down to the Port Mansfield Jetties and there are many VW dune buggy types full of surfers. Them 200lbs guys did not have to worry about getting stuck in soft sand just pick up the VW and move to a better place.
