I remember when stay-at-home moms were the rule, not the exception. I’m old.

Elon Musk asserts that the population is peaking, and that reduction in the population is a bad thing. He doesn’t say exactly how to ameliorate that, tho . . . at least AFAIK.

Likewise he asserts that AI eliminating jobs wholesale won’t be a problem, because it will create unprecedented abundance. I agree with the abundance point, but that doesn’t answer the problem of repurposing all those people who now justify their existence by the fact that they usefully drive trucks.
