All immunity, be it vax or recovery, gets old. The UK’s vax is quite old. US vax is becoming quite old. UK had faster vax uptake so theirs is older and thus, People Are Dying.
Tack onto that a new subvariant dominating their cases and of course they have a lot of deaths. It will get worse, and it will reach the US.
The place really getting hammered is S. Korea. They are smashed.
And yes, boosters buy some time, but damn little. Weeks. Israel’s data says less time each boost.

And now, we have the new data out for life expectancy in the US. We lost 1.9 yrs in 2020 to Covid and Fentanyl. For 2021, the loss was 0.4 years. Covid is now the #3 killer in the US, behind cancer and heart disease.
US life expectancy has in the last few years fallen to 5 years shorter than 19 peer developed countries, mostly because of the huge death numbers from Covid. This is an outrage and is getting far too little attention.

We have always had effective treatments for Covid, it's just that the globalists pretend they don't exist. Even the highest risk patients have 85% chance of recovery with the more popular treatment protocols which use well-known safe medications in use for decades.
The CDC intentionally used a PCR 'test' which cannot diagnose disease. The entire medical response was driven by agencies Bill Gates and other power grabbing Globalists - they are responsible. Not Covid. Covid is highly survivable and treatable - the Deep State is not.
