The Ukrainian AF tweet also states what it needs to counter Russian aviation. Look at it as a shopping list instead of a admission of defeat. They want to get their hands on 4th generation aircraft, F-16s, F-15s, more and better surface to air missiles, S-300s and 400s, Patriots, NASAMS.
They are getting more weapons now, more Stingers, British Starstreaks (extremely good), and current anti-tank rockets and missiles. They need heavier weapons to carry the fight. Those weapons, Tanks, heavier SAMS, and fighters, take more time for governments to approve and deploy than man portable weapons.
The Russian air force has shown it is having the same problems as their ground forces. They are mostly using daytime operations, no coordination with ground forces, and limited use of guided weapons. That is fine for bombing cities block by block. It is not good enough when the enemy has comparable weapons to fight back. Russian aircraft are not going into areas covered by Ukrainian's medium and long range air defense missiles.
Ukraine is the size of Texas. Russia has shown poor ground control and airborne early warning needed to counter the Ukrainian AF. If Ukraine was going up against USAF AWACS, F-15s and F-16s, they would have been out of action in hours.
On the first day of the invasion Russia only fired a few cruise missiles at airfields, did not put one out of action, and called it a day. No matter their size or what they claim they are capable, how they are fighting is their actual level of competency and effectiveness.
It’s outright fantasy to suggest that Russia is losing to the Ukraine’s garage sale/potluck efforts to arm untrained citizens and train their pilots on gifted next generation jets. You are quoting MSM liars and traitors like they are gospel, despite the realities of modern warfare.
That war map clearly shows to me a massive diversion on the North from the main objective on the coast in the South east.
This should really get the globalist neocons worked up...
What “globalist neocons”?
Why would a total bs article get anyone with a brain “worked up?”
I read Intel Slava daily....
If you read that putler prop daily it’s no wonder you’re f’d up.
This article has been brought to you by the facts and figures person, ransomnote,.....
Facts and figures for covid maybe. But for Ukraine he’s a putler boot likker.
It apparently got you "worked up", else you would have let my comment slide...
Wait. Is this some sort of personal confession about your brain?
It’s outright fantasy to suggest that Russia is losing to the Ukraine’s garage sale/potluck efforts to arm untrained citizens.....
It’s happening.
Have you ever worn a uniform? Do you know how long it takes to get trigger pullers up to speed? For the basics, not that long actually.
You’re a paper warrior. All you do is look at published numbers. You don’t have a clue about intangibles like unit morale, cohesion, dicipline, etc.
putlers hordes fled from the Kyiv area to avoid being cut off and captured by Uke counter attacks. Do you really believe the bs that the northern front was just a feint?
You were a good resource during the covid days. Sorry to see you defending war crimes in the here and now.
else you would have let my comment slide......
Just trying to inform your ignorance.
Wait. Is this some sort of personal confession about your brain? ...
Yes! It’s vastly superior to yours.
In your dreams.
My best pal in high school was the class valedictorian and has a PhD in chemistry [works for Pfizer out East].
It was universally acknowledged that I was the smartest in the class [though an academic slacker, because I was busy sponging up every book I could get my hands on].
BTW - I'm the guy you call to fix your personal physical plant, because you were too busy being "smart" to learn how to deal with real-world stuff.
I wasn't.
Battle of Kyiv (2022)Following the successful Ukrainian counterattacks in late March,[118][119][120] Russia announced it was withdrawing its forces from the Kyiv area on 29 March.[121] Taking Kyiv was deemed to be a key objective and their failure to take it was viewed as setback for the campaign in general.
Quite an interesting read - thanks.
I don’t defend war crimes. That’s the MSM and Biden’s terrain. Haven’t you wondered why the same people who work to destroy President Trump are all saying we should support the Ukraine? I’m not going to be used by them in their information war. I don’t understand how anyone could know the history of the Deep State’s infiltration/corruption of the Ukraine, and Biden’s role in it, and still believe their propaganda.
oh, yeah...The Tiger is in the woods again!
“Russian-speaking Ukrainians” doesn’t mean they approve of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine’s borders.
FTA:
“Larry C. Johnson–—I don’t think there is anyone in the Biden Administration that is smart enough to think and plan in those strategic terms...”
‘Ya think?
