for two weeks I’ve been on a quest to find & buy a REAL Easter kielbasa.

Seems as if it doesn’t exist in the NEK.

Good thing I started looking early.

In case you ask:

What is the difference between Easter kielbasa and regular kielbasa?

But these are no ordinary kielbasa. Easter is a day so special, so celebratory, tradition demands something different. Although ingredients, taste and shape differ among makers, Easter kielbasa is a more luxurious version of this Polish staple. Compare it to driving a Cadillac rather than a Buick for a day.

Extra spices! YUMMMMMMMMMMM!

my mom would always have cut up real kielbasa with slices of hard boiled eggs at Easter....we lived in a very ethinic area....Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Italians, etc so finding it wasn't hard...

in my area in the NW, find a Russian grocery....they have good kielbasa, straight from Bulgaria.....lol
