“This Maxey guy is playing this up a little too hard. I don’t care what he says and don’t trust him.”

I’m smelling the same aroma...
It’s one thing to recover deleted data from a drive’s free space.
(Even I can do that...)
But while it CAN be done, recovering OVERWRITTEN Data requires equipment and effort I’m not convinced Maxey has access to.
At least I’ve not heard him mention the right words to convince me that he even
knows that’s a thing... If he does, he doesn’t seem to be talking about it, unless
I’ve missed something.
Recovering 450 GBs of deleted data from 200GBs of “free” drive space is
impressive, and I’d like to hear more about how that was done.
(IF that was done.)
I’m always suspicious of potential plans to derail a TRUTHFUL narrative.
This could be one of those.

Maybe if he had the platters and the right equipment but
not off an SSD, SSD’s have overprovisioning for bad blocks but
I doubt they would have any data if there weren’t
actually any errors on the drive and
a 500G drive would only have 12G anyway.

Same stuff, different day.
Tons of talk/Pressers. Nanograms of action.
Almost sounds like some folks we know of in DC, eh?
If the deleted files were all .zip files (or otherwise compressed), it's theoretically possible. But unlikely.
Here is my take:
In the FOX Nation show on this topic, Mac Isaac said Hunter came in with 3 MacBooks.
My understanding was that passwords were made available (or discovered) for Hunter's iCloud account, and if Hunter had an iPhone or two, and/or an iPad or two, there is likely a LOT of Hunter data floating around in the ether - collected from all of his devices. Apple vacuums all of the account's devices for storage/backup.
Maxey has admitted he is not very computer literate - maybe he is not publicly describing what his minions are actually doing on his behalf.
Although the F_I Chief Cyber Guru denies he knows anything, the F_I has had the same data that Maxey has, but the F_I and D_J has their collective fingers in their ears chanting na-na-na-na.....
