In Shanghai asymptomatic people are being sent to quarantine camps, suicides are spiking, health workers are killing dogs, and some families are starving. Never forget that this dystopian “real lockdown” is what academics, journalists, and “experts” wanted to try here.

Despite all these Chinese citizens won’t and can’t revolt. Their lives are attached to credit scores. The system won’t allow more than 20 people to be in one place.
CCP is able to control more than Billion people.
The situation is so horrible, dying is better for a lot of people.

Obama: ‘It Would Be So Much Easier To Be the President of China’

The president has wistfully been thinking about how easy it would be to be the leader of the People’s Republic of China, the New York Times reports. And one unnamed official told the Times’s reporters that “No one is scrutinizing [Chinese leader] Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square.”

Some leading U.S. politicians and economists including President Obama have admired China’s massive investment in new transportation projects and wished America could do the same. Yet a new research paper suggests China’s approach is “a model to avoid” and one that could trigger a global crisis unless dramatically altered.

“How do we sit back and watch China and Europe build the best bridges and high-speed railroads and gleaming new airports, and we’re doing nothing?” Obama complained in a speech several years ago urging Congress to spend more on infrastructure.

Obama CDC Boss Who Admired China’s Response Put in Charge of Contact Tracing

What are Frieden’s views on the coronavirus?

“We can learn from China’s response. It’s extraordinarily proactive,” Frieden said, in praise of the totalitarian Communist dictatorship’s contact tracing program.

Setting aside Frieden’s alleged misconduct, this is a very troubling view from a point man in a contact tracing effort that will cover three states. China’s contact tracing app was used to control where anyone could go by assigning them a color code. Anyone going out had to scan their code at establishments.

What exactly does Frieden think we can learn from the abuses of the People’s Republic of China? And how will he put those lessons to use in building the surveillance machine overseeing 32 million people?

Frieden’s career shows a bias toward coercive measures, from forcible detention to soda taxes, to, allegedly, touching a woman without her consent. Coercive public health measures belong in Communist dictatorships. They have no place in a free nation like the United States of America.

The expert class, which has failed at dealing with actual crises, has raised its ambitions from controlling what Americans eat to controlling whether they can leave the house. New York and New Jersey’s decision to hand over control to Bloomberg and his coercive crony is a bad solution for all Americans.
