Yes, I now have six cats to find good homes for. I don’t think it will be that easy, I’m feeling a bit stressed about it. Because the alternative is I have six more cats. I was trying to get down to no pets so we could go traveling. I never liked to leave the animals.
....and they got a very striking picture of him. Just wow. My son was very good playing baseball growing up, so I sort of know how you feel. He still plays ball (at 33), but nowhere near the level of your son. God bless him. I hope he goes as far as his heart desires.

I’m surprised to hear that. You have to jump through major hoops and spend a pile of money to get a cat up here. They’re nowhere to be found. It’s very odd. I remember back to the days when we kept finding cats with their litters dropped off out in the country. We only have a cat on the farm because he showed up one day and never left. He’s a grumpy but funny old guy - had him neutered, fed him, and now he owns the house.

I get all my staples at Aldi’s. There isn’t one item there that hasn’t gone up at least 20% already.
I don’t know enough about prices at other places to compare. But I do get the overall impression that their prices are higher than the last time I went.

Maybe I can figure out how to advertise up there. The transport would be the problem. We have transports here that go from the south to New England. But I’m having a hard time finding a rescue here to work with.
