I have the three books on Audible read by Rob Inglis that are
excellent...listen to them every other year or so...

Actually, I had a copy of The Silmarillion some years ago on audio book. It was really fascinating and a good thing for those who just can’t slog through the printed version. Knowing the history gives you a greater appreciation for the LOTR books.
