I did a documentary on this 20 years ago. The little ice age caused the folks in Greenland to move south to American continent. When the King of Norway couldn't get the stuff from Greenland, he sent the Vikings to find them. The ended up in Kingston Minnesota, and left behind a runestone describing the date and what happened. I posted the documentary on Youtube with Maxtanic films called 1362 The Kensington Enigma

How ironic, with present day Minnesota being heavily Scandinavian. With its NFL team named The Vikings.
