My brother had surgery there last month.
I won’t give you that story, because you still would not believe it.
I took my brother on hour drive to the surgery and stayed with him in the hospital room until they discharged him. 4 night (5 days) stay. When we got my brother released from the hospital, some nurses who helped us and were friendly told us goodby and I got the clue that one was being reassigned. In a earlier discussion, 2 of the nurses were surprised that I knew why the hospital was still using masks. They knew, but it was a taboo subject. There is more to the money trail than that, they just took over another large hospital and several other smaller ones.
They did a great job in the surgery. The Doctor was one of the most friendly that I’ve known. He knew some of my family. One of my cousins is a famous track coach and he was in Abilene a long time before he was hired away to Lubbock.
