DH grew up in postwar Poland. It was common knowledge, and he heard from g’parents and parents, that there were many Nazi sympathizers and active participants in Ukraine, one group got into Poland and caused harm, and even stayed for some time after the war. Many or most of the guards in the camps in Poland were Ukrainians, as the Poles did not want to do it plus the Ukes were known as very tough.
I guess the CIA just stepped in to help Nazism along. Will read.
