And now that I know the rest of the story, I certainly agree that dear old Dad shouldn’t have posed his daughter. It was an irresponsible thing to do just for a picture. I know I never would’ve used one of my daughters like that.

My comment was intended to be sarcastic. I have myself to blame for not making that clear. I have seen several references to Russians as “liberators” of Ukraine, which I thought were asinine.

No problem, I agree. The idea pushed by Putin that bombing and killing people in Mariupol, which is full of Russian speaking Ukrainians is somehow helping the Russian speaking Ukrainians is crazy.
If there was a civil war going on beyond the door or an armed conflict, and those children were used as props it would be just as wrong. If they were used as combatants it’s a war crime. The U.S can’t go rogue on the Geneva Convention. Teach children to hunt or self defense is one thing, but using them for war purposes is criminal. P.s those kids look over 15 or over. In that case the Geneva convention doesnt apply
