The vaxes seeom to often cause damage to the central nervous system including cognition as well as in some people causing paralysis. I know getting covid made me feel drugged up and totally stupid. There is a difference between the brain function, the mind function, and then the actual soul. Even people with less than stellar IQs can and do have faith in God. Hopefully the volunteer you describe has recuperated and feels better in every way.
