re: what kind of work did HB request on laptops?
This is from my memory -no source. I remember in interview with Mac that laptop had “water damage” and would need further work by shop owner so was retained for further work.

I heard water damage too when I heard it was one laptop. Then when I heard there were three devices taken to the computer shop, I wondered if Hunter had been warned/concerned about there being a warrant for their seizure in an investigation and was trying to hide them.
