This list is cringey, at a minimum (seriously, almost half of this list is something about how many flavors there are), and dangerous at most: looking at you #5. Linux IS NOT IMMUNE TO VIRUSES! As a matter of fact, every Black Hat convention for the last 5 years saw a Linux distro hacked FIRST with MacOS second.
That said, Linux has its place, and it’s a great OS for development.

And so far, it is limited to local physical hands on access to do it. Don’t let anyone you do not know use your computer.
I have run and managed open systems for 24 years and never felt the need to create my own distro. I worked with a chap to help him create a custom build based off gentoo and it was so much work it just wasn’t worth it unless you are in a highly specialized area of compute.
