Yup

Broadcast News is truly a documentary on libtard media.

I worked on papers, people I worked with went on to careers on major papers. Many left out of disillusion of what really goes down in a newsroom.

And she’s probably a lefty, but I’ve always had a thing for Holly Hunter.

“Prostate Cancer, spread to his bones. Very sad. Get yourself tested!.”

Agreed. And quite frankly, too many news outlets and their groupies have this misconception that prostate cancer is not a deadly disease. In 2021, prostate cancer killed over 34,000 people — only about 10,000 less than breast cancer — and yet no one wears ribbons or special MLB/NFL uniforms for prostate cancer. This would not be a surprise if prostate cancer was a white man’s disease, but black men, sadly, have two times the rate of prostate cancer as white men. Pro sports need to nix the breast cancer awareness and focus on their audience. Men need to get tested because early diagnosis means survival.

That is JOHN HURT. Not William Hurt. John played Caligula in the TV series I CLAUDIUS.

Back then, while watching Body Heat and scenes with Kathleen Turner I noticed the table in front of me kept flying up and hitting me in the face.

Now the table just sets there. Bummer.

I remember the scene in Body Heat where Hurt’s character threw a chair through the patio door to get to a smoking hot Kathleen Turner. Great film!

Totally forgivable. I mean what normal male wouldn't have?

Yes, and then there's John Heard who died a few years back. The Eighties were complicated.

Mary Beth Hurt, Bill's ex-wife and Paul Schrader's current one, is still around, but not acting much.

It was Kathleen Turner that had ME snorting! Back when I could “snort”!

Now days, I have to take a blue pill, and when it kicks in someone has to remind me of what and why I took it!

My father went from <4 to well over 70 in the space of a few months. After getting him on meds his PSA dropped to less than 7, it then spiked up after a couple of years. The point is his PSA definitely tracked the cancers growth.

Will always remember him in "The Accidental Tourist".

Lol. The dinner scenes were awkwardly hilarious.

And for range, the psychopathic Philly gangster brother in A History of Violence or the serial killer's backseat alter ego in Mr. Brooks. Yep, one of the best genuine actors. They are rare.
