tuna clipper
A fishing boat based on the United States West Coast and used for commercial tuna fishing. A typical tuna clipper is diesel-powered, has her deckhouse forward and her bait tanks aft, and is outfitted with iron racks around her stem from which her crew uses heavy bamboo poles to fish for tuna.
Back in the late 1980s when the Japanese were paying absurd prices for tuna, three of my dad's junior law partners bought a new small tuna boat. Think Wicked Tuna. They docked her in Morehead City, NC and would spend 2-3 weekends a month fishing for tuna. They payed off the boat in 18 months after covering their other expenses. When the Japanese market tanked they sold the boat for a tidy profit.

I assumed this was a lie or a hoax but it is not. The Biden and Zelensky governments were the only two votes against a Russian resolution condemning the glorification of Nazism. What!?! https://t.co/rW19tcEq3I— David Shafer (@DavidShafer) March 12, 2022
Good timing on the tuna boat venture. Sounds fun.
