All due respect, but these sites conflating ViAIDS and ‘vaccine’ efficacy are absolutely maddening to me. We all predicted that these jabs would NOT bear out, and I predicted what’s happening in the countries who were touted as successes over a year ago, NZ included.

I don’t disagree that it may come to pass, but in the absence of hard data these stories smack of something else.

Given that the cell is one of the body's own, how is training T-cells to attack and destroy it different that an autoimmune disorder?

Granted the T-cells are only, only, only supposed to attack the COVID surface proteins, and completely ignore the associated "normal" cell surface proteins, but are you absolutely certain that there won't be some guilt by association further down the road?

Other that that I'm somewhat reassured that there actually is an off switch. Thanks!

A meme shared on social media that suggests mRNA vaccines trick the body into creating virus proteins “nonstop forever and ever” contains false information. It shows a lack of understanding of how these vaccines work.

The ribosome translation is a one shot process in the antigen-presenting cells. It is like feeding a tickertape into a stocker ticker machine. The output, which is an abbreviated form of the Spike Protein, is like the hub cap for the whole car—not the entire virus. That protein is quickly broken down by the cell and never enters the blood stream or other cells. Instead, the protein pieces are presented on the surface of antigen-presenting cells bound to the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II proteins. It is there that the MHC triggers immune cells to produce antibodies programmed to attack Spike Proteins where ever they exist.

What may be causing reactions to the mRNA vaccine is the lipid nanoparticle that encloses the RNA messenger. It uses a widely used ingredient, polyethelene glycol (PEG). The shell is composed of synthetic lipids and cholestorol, along with PEG to stabilize the mRNA cargo against degradation. PEG also may play a role as an immune stimulant. The research is ongoing.

Perfectly well. Once the hijacked cell dies, no more spike proteins are generated from the original batch.

But the immune system will still target those spike proteins.

When all the vaccine generated spikes are gone, the immune response slowly, sometimes over months, sometimes over decades begins to fade.

So far so good.

My concern is the “by catch”, the normal cellular surface proteins on the cells expressing the spike proteins, that can be caught up in the response to kill the factory.

If the factory was, say, muscle cells in the arm, there will be cells with those surface proteins always keeping the immune system on high alert.

Until there are no more of that type of muscle cells left.

That might be a problem...

I think these antegen producing calls produce protein pieces on the cell surface for proteins generated by the nucleus. The body wants perfection in these proteins, for obvious reasons. So the MHC complex molecules have a role in the cell’s quality control process. If these are foreign proteins (or protein mistakes) there is an interaction with the T helper cells which trigger them to produce cytokines (interlukens) and memory cells. The cytokines instantly destroy the protein piece bound to the MHC. The interlukens attracts B-cells that produce plasma cells which act to produce antibodies that will bind on the C-virus’s Spike protein, whenever present, neutralize it and destroy it. So whatever the Spike Protein, created by the ribosome, it is broken up and, when at the MHC complex, it is destroyed by cytokines.
