That's your advice to a question on convenient gun storage? After much thought? After how much reading of the original post?
You may want to turn your weapons in at the next gun-buy-back program. You should not be around deadly weapons, including sharp edged tools and heavy blunt instruments.

Mr. Times, you get sound advice that you asked for because your wife doesn't trust you, and you get very defensive and strike out at fellow FReepers.
It's too late for you to "grow a pair", just give up your guns, get a thingy to suck on, curl up in a ball by the fire and it will be OK.
I thought you were just pissed at me, but you really are on the edge of a break down, and like I said earlier, give up your guns, your wife is right not to trust you.
Snowflake.
Dude, guns are for carrying not storage. 😉
