IMHO this is a made-for-Twitter war. Most of what we are see is either old imagery being pawned off as new/recent or computer generated, wag the dog style stuff being packaged to bring a tear to the eyes of the ignorant masses.
Yeah, it's been happening since about Day 1 of the fighting. Unfortunately, it takes folks a while to catch on: there was a thread here about some Ukrainian model reportedly heading for the front lines to help fight off the Ruskis. I think the original poster was more than a little disappointed to learn the supposed 'warrior babe' was just posing for a photo shoot with a fancy BB gun - kind of 'popped his bubble'!

Not if you are looking at information from sources closer to the battle. There is a lot of video and images available from combatants and witnesses on both the Ukrainian and Russian side, although there is more footage from Ukrainians because their civilians are gathering footage.
You can use google translate to get a rough idea of what the captions and text says in the posts on twitter and telegram.
