Even with the schemes of the Demonicrats—following their trials, convictions and sentencing—we should have enough rope to hang these traitors.
“We’ve had ‘Pestilence’ and ‘Famine’ is next horse up.”
It’s going to be interesting to see how it plays out. Will our wonderful government (that so many here support regarding Ukraine) let prices rise to allow supply and demand to balance out, or will they be like Nixon and impose price controls and/or rationing, to ‘spread the pain’.
We may well end up regretting our Ukraine policy when we have to wait in Soviet style food lines just to buy meat (and maybe other stuff).
Paid $9.99/lb for chuck roast. But that was a week ago, so it’s likely more ‘spensive now.
I have a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 which gets 100 mpg. I guess I’ll be riding that a lot more when it gets warmer.
My Wife picked up our beef from local packing house.
The beef plus kill fee and butcher-wrapping worked out to be 5.28 per pound.
Its great all these city slickers not knowing where cows grow. What a bunch of idiots.
Excellent!
Really don’t eat a lot of red meat anyway. More of a seafood person myself.
What we want we can get through our local farms who produce amazing stuff.
There are many Americans who may do well to eat a little less. I’m not going to sugarcoat this.
You can bet Obama can still afford that fancy meat
Kobe and Wagyu. ONLY!...........
“This is all our fault for allowing Biden to steal the election.”
Yep. And don’t forget to vote against every Republican representative and senator who voted to certify the electoral college election of Biden in 2020. If you vote them back in don’t cry about the stolen election and $8 gas.
Whatever happens, the people who work for GS will not have to worry about “luxury” meat.
If you're not a member of buttShwab's private country club, you aren't allowed to have any of the above.
Unless we put a stop to it now.
Over the last two years I’ve developed a delicious vegetarian taco soup. I suppose I could add chicken if desired.
Let’s face it, there has been a war on red meat for decades, even to the point of ridiculousness, cow flatulence. Same with oil, same with cars, so whatever these idiots deem dangerous or unnecessary will be subject to the supply chain crisis.
Meat was a luxury food item. Improvements in technology, refrigeration, railroad and steam ships, and higher household incomes allowed more people to make meat a regular food item. Seems like, as with other aspects of life, the West I’d regressing back to a type of feudal society.
The article posted is not news, but opinion as part of a cottage industry of selling his books.
As to "luxury" beef, among our family "collectibles" are the WWII ration books, for that was a time when many more products than now we severely rationed. Beef was not only a luxury product but often simply unavailable for its price and scarcity in some areas. This was true in the UK as well.
There are now so many opinion sites that play the "infomercial" game of presenting opinion as new, the poster children being the idiotic and Lefty CNN and MSN. But smaller sites and on both sides of the political aisle do the same.
The author of this article and many of the same theme is the operator of his site, and seemingly the only author represented. He is prolific. His articles are also posted to the Conservative Firing Line. For some limited information about him, his Amazon page selling his many books is https://www.amazon.com/Michael-Snyder/e/B01DUPOJL2.
For a listing of the same articles as on his own site, one can look to: https://conservativefiringline.com/author/msnyder/ .
His career seems to be writing, publishing and promoting his work. Complete with books sales as with "donate" requests. So many voices, proclaiming economic collapse, have so much to sell.
The Snyders also operate The Economic Collapse Blog which sells his books. http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/
They tried YouTube: https://ng.youtubers.me/michael-and-meranda-snyder/youtube-estimated-earnings Didn't seem a successful monetized gambit.
Seems he ran for office in Idaho with a slogan, "Why I am different": https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxiWTcd1PltIJcnFIoH0k4A
Sounds like the Snyders run a set of businesses, since at least 2008, telling of collapse. Not as a mission, but as their cottage industry. Their clientele needs to think that "luxury beef" is a new thing, because that seems how they are able to buy their luxury beef.
Let me guess. The leftists have a plan to step in and save us from these terrible disruptions. Just let them take complete control of the supply chain and they will sort everything out in short order... Because we all know how well centrally planned and controlled economies work - just look at the Soviet Union... Oh wait...they’re not around anymore.
