Hey FreeQs... I have not traveled by air since the Plandemic started, but my college roomies are hosting a get-together on the Outer Banks this summer and I absolutely cannot miss it. As of now, airlines are still requiring testing within one day of travel, plus an “attestation” must be filled out and signed. (I looked at it and it’s almost as complicated as a tax form. How I detest these people.) I understand that I can get a rapid test at a pharmacy. My question is to those who fly regularly... how does this work? How do they know I really took the test? I see something about having to film yourself taking the test? This is such BS and I am totally opposed to it, but I can’t miss this trip. And then I have to do the same rigamarole on the return flight?? Please tell me your secrets.
Must be the state you’re in, because VA or NC are very relaxed, whichever airport you’re flying into.
I think those travel restrictions are only for international travel. Domestic travel just requires a mask.
Add to your question “how does one film the test if one hasn’t got a smartphone?”.
I flew from ATL to STL last March and only had to wear a mask. I’m going again this May and the info only specifies a required mask. (Our daughter attends grad school at Washington U in St. Louis. Graduation is May 20!!!)
No need to test. I only wear a mask to get thru security, and then when actually boarding the plane. You can walk the whole airport without a mask, and nobody will say anything.
No tests, no temperature taken. But get the No Mask. While I only wear one at the TSA gate, it “slips” down everywhere else. The No Mask is great and you can breathe. Cut the tag off, the airline stewardesses (that’s for the bish ones as I refuse to call them flight attendants) can be mask Nazis. Last time I flew, one such mask Nazi got on the loudspeaker and said, “You will comply or you will not fly.” Ugh.
The guy in front of me was literally pulling his mask down and putting it up in between sips of his beverage. I wanted to poke his eyes out.
