They need to do something other than focusing on wrong way signs, flashing lights, alerting AZHP and infrared cameras, because it's not working. Just last Thursday we had another fatal wrong-way on the 10 freeway--two people in a car going the wrong way were obliterated after going headfirst a semi truck. It seems to happen most often in the middle of the night (this one was 3:15 am), so as I was saying, if you're at that first light and no other cars are around and no car is at the light at the the bottom of the exiting ramp, you can easily just turn left and find yourself going the wrong way on the freeway. Especially if you're drunk, as this one likely was.
