Do let me know if it lives up to the hype,. I’ve heard it is quite a leftist piece of work and have no interest in seeing it if it’s just leftist propaganda.
I’m not huge on superhero movies, but this one does intrigue me. The younger, more hotheaded, and less experienced Batman sounds like a fun thing to explore.
Seen it. It’s a little long a little slow. Good action but takes a couple of shots and mean white guys. Very atmospheric, mood and dark. I’m a HUGE Batman fan and I loved the dark knight films.
Is Heath Ledger in it?😁
If not, it can’t possibly be the best!🤬
Yes, I’m kidding.
I think?😇
“I am The Batman” -Donald Trump
Will people still not have the foggiest idea that Bruce Wayne is Batman? And will it still be hard for everybody to figure out where the batcave is? lol
I’m sorry, but Robert Pattinson in the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman was and still is a bad casting choice.
Just watched it. DID NOT REALLY LIKE. Way too long, about an hours worth.
I just found my seat. Movie starts in 15 minutes. IMAX
He plays a good batman, but his Bruce Wayne and the batmobile suck. Just saying. Other wise pritty good, but no Dark Knight.
I doubt it. Nothing can hold a candle to the 1966 Batman movie, which I saw in the theater on August 14, `1966.

Batman has a lot of relatives......

And the Hollowoodies aren’t going to let Pooty Pooh and his Commie Meanies see it. ROTFL!
I heard a "it was very good, but not great" review from a film critic I respect. He said it was on account of the film's too-slow pacing at times. It is 3 hours long.
For those who watched: Appropriate for 14 year old boy? Any sexual content?
Can’t beat Dark Knight. So why would I want to watch this? They should put the franchise on ice for a couple of years. I think the story would be better through a miniseries if they can do it over on HBO or Netflix but with high production value filming.
Batman movie sucks. Supergirl is where it is at. OK I will admit that Tom Hardy as Bane was peak Batman. With Michael Caine 2nd.
As Sikel and Ebert said years ago, early movie makers were raised on great literature and made movies of them.
Today’s movie makers were raised on Comic Books.
I watched THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO (1934) with Robert Donat last night. Great movie! Better than funny books.
