I remember hearing this song at a drive in burger joint near Grand Coulee Dam when I was 11 years old on a family road trip. Mom was bopping to it, Dad not so much. He was more of a Roy Acuff guy.

The Walkabouts are a Seattle band, and this song is 30 years old next year!
Many of their albums are available on Amazon and probably elsewhere.
Another good version of the song is from The Notting Hillbillies, featuring Mark Knopfler.
The song was written by Charlie Rich! Glad you enjoyed it!
