I have a relative who was gorgeous at 20, and still drop-dead gorgeous at 40+.
She got married to a good guy at 21, they are serious Christians, and have kids.
I think that spending your 20s partying away takes a toll.
Forty is still good looking territory.
Sixty and older is when it really happens.
Plus, it’s more of a tendency, not a hard and fast rule.
The other thing that takes its toll is face lifts. They work for a while, but once a few years have passed, they do more harm than good.
Women who spend their twenties getting drunk often look like they’re in their fifties by the time they reach their thirties.
