A girl I was dating in the early seventies took me to meet some of her friends because she thought I would have "So much in common" with them; me being a Vietnam veteran and all. Not.
Those idiots were crazy and stupid. So was she...but that's another story.
My view of Vietnam is tainted by Col. David Hackworth. We could have actually won that war. The new general was in it to win it but the Demonrats pulled the rug out. Turning things over to the South Vietnamese was a disaster and what caused Hackworth to flip.
