Oh hell, let's just throw it all in there...you are (or believe you are) an expert on the bible...hence, I'm assuming you're a Big Christain. Maybe even one of those fire and brimstone preachers? One of those "nasty Christians" who make themselves feel oh so holy by beating others about the head with YOUR bible. (psst...my bible really IS bigger than yours! ha!)
Nasty Christians are the ones who always know better than anyone else...and they ALWAYS have to show off their giant brain by opening their giant mouths and spewing insults and hurtful things...always to make themselves look better and smarter and BIGGER. Cos, you know, they're so smart, they think they are the boss of how the rest of us should act. You know, in a Christ-like way?
Oh, wait. Jesus didn't talk to people like you're talking to us. He didn't try to make people feel "less than." Sure, he showed off now and then, but he wasn't performing miracles on street corners to get applause. He was actually kind of reticent about some of his miracles.
So, to sum it up: When you, a professed Christian, start spouting off and denigrating others' faith and how they practice it, you make Christians look bad. Luckily, I'm smart enough to discern your attitude, and we are luckily so surrounded by Good Christians here in Q-land, that I know the difference. If you're trying to convert folks, you're failing..epically! I suggest you take a little time, spend some time with your bible, and reassess your approach.
