$60,000 per tent for safe sleeping villages

That's quite a bargain. In LA, they are spending $500K-$750k a unit.

The goal is communism. Give housing and a minimum income to people, take away their cars & use public transportation. You will own nothing & like it.

I was telling my wife the other day, people don't own music, movies, books, software, vehicle (leasing), newspapers... anymore. It is all "rented" with streaming services. Nobody buys albums, CDs, videos anything anymore. If you stop your subscription, you don't have it anymore.

I don't have time to look it up right now, but in the last 6 months, I have been hearing commercials for car subscriptions where it is not even a lease - you basically rent the vehicle. They want you to go to crypto currency, where they control when & how you spend your money. If they don't like what you are buying, they can cut you off.

That’s a good point. I guess that’s why I feel like with e-books that I’m not really buying anything. Just renting for a time. I only get the free ones. If I’m going to buy a book it will be hard copy.
