I remember when Carlin was on the Ed Sullivan show, and liked him then, in the mid-to late 1960s. Al, the hippy-dippy weatherman at wonderful WINO. He died in 2008.

Awe, you saved the bird. I love hummingbirds. About 15 miles from here, there is a wildlife habitat, and it is summer home for thousands of hummingbirds. I went there and observed them catching the travelers to track them. It’s amazing how all those birds go the same routes every year. I even had a hummingbird put in my ear!
