When we still had our land line....and, would accidentally answer a spam call.....I’d always ask them for their home phone number, so I could call them, later.

They’d of course, refuse...and, say....I don’t give that out. I’d say...well. you’re calling ME, on my home phone, during dinner, and I’d like to return the favor, at my convenience.

CLICK!

Exactly!

No, they never take away a tax....but, are so “generous” to give away.....tax dollars.

I guess they figure the dumbed down masses don’t realize that’s their own money, that the ‘state’ is giving them.

🙃

Lowering taxes things like a better idea, if they are getting excess funds.

“I guess they figure the dumbed down masses don’t realize that’s their own money, that the ‘state’ is giving them”

Kind of like when people are so happy they are getting a tax refund.

Not that getting a refund is bad, we always get a small one because I don’t want to err on the other side and end up with a penalty for not withholding as much. But I know it’s all my money!

Agree.....excess funds SHOULD equate to lowering the tax rate....but, we know *that* will never happen.

After McDonald’s Closed 847 Restaurants in Russia, Russian Government Renamed Them “Uncle Vanya”
US and UK firms largely abandon Russia. Fearing confiscation, it’s business as usual for France.

French president Emanuel Macron announced “We are not at war with Russia” making it Business as Usual for French countries as noted by Eurointelligence.

Business as usual is a sign of French confidence, not turning Russia into a pariah state because of its president’s decisions to invade Ukraine.

There are sanctions and there are sanctions.

President Biden can and has enforced them. But there are allowances for medical supplies. And there is no way to force locally owned franchises to close.

CBS News has a List of Companies Still Doing Business in Russia.

I remember the days when my kids made enough money that they didn’t get a huge tax return. I could see the light bulbs turn on when I explained how it works, that they understood why I was always complaining about taxes.

Ketanji Brown Jackson's Favorite Critical Race Theory Book Rejects the Constitution-A judge who does not believe in the Constitution, but believes in critical race theory, is unfit
Frontpagemagazine ^ | Mar 25, 2022 | Daniel Greenfield
Posted on 3/25/2022, 8:29:40 AM by SJackson

The existence of a speech by Biden's Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson, praising Derrick Bell, the godfather of critical race theory, and citing his book, “Faces At the Bottom of a Well”, as an influence has been widely reported. Conservatives have covered Bell's racist views, his praise for Farrakhan, his antisemitism, and attacks on America. Much of this was already hashed out during the exposure of the relationship between Barack Obama and Derrick Bell.

But it's important to specifically focus on Jackson's interest in “Faces At the Bottom of the Well.”

In her speech, Jackson mentions that Bell, whom along with his wife she praises throughout her speech, “wrote a book in the early 1990s about the persistence of racism in American life”.

The subtitle of the book, which few people have mentioned, is, “The Permanence Of Racism”.

Persistence and permanence are not the same thing. But this is another example of Jackson subtly distorting Bell and his book in order to make their extremism seem more moderate.

Man Told by an Officer That He Could Enter the Capitol on Jan. 6 Now Faces 20 Years in Prison

On Jan. 6, 2021, a protestor, 40-year-old Brady Knowlton, says that an officer at the Capitol told “You can go in, as long as you don’t break anything.” At 2:35 p.m., Knowlton did, entering through the Upper West Terrace doors. He looked around inside the building, walked through the Rotunda, lobby, and Senate chamber gallery, obeyed the officer’s injunction not to break anything, and left the building at 2:53 p.m. For that, Knowlton now faces twenty years in prison in Old Joe Biden’s vengeful banana republic.

On top of the possibility of being behind bars until 2042, Knowlton, a law student, has suffered numerous other consequences already. According to the Daily Wire, “his law degree has been withheld, his lawyers say, Airbnb has banned him and his wife, and, for reasons that remain undisclosed, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has stripped his Global Entry access.”

If Knowlton’s contention that a police officer said he could go in is true, it vitiates all these charges, and Knowlton’s claim is certainly corroborated by photographic and video evidence of cops at the Capitol opening gates, holding the doors open for protestors, and reports that police even posed for selfies with protestors. Also, when the FBI raided Knowlton’s home, they found no evidence whatsoever “concerning the breach and unlawful entry” of the Capitol, or “of any conspiracy, planning, or preparation,” or “maps or diagrams” of the Capitol, or of any “materials, devices, or tools” that Knowlton might have planned to use to get inside.

Good morning, CB, Judy, Jane and Rusty.

Heard this morning that the same TX advocacy group that sued Madison Cawthorn claiming he is an Insurrectionist to keep him off the ballot is now suing Marjorie Taylor Green for the same reason.

BTW Madison's case was thrown out by a federal judge.

A reminder of just WHO are the real troublemakers.....

I like to post this gentle reminder of the complete absurdity of the Jan 6th 'Insurrection' narrative from time to time pic.twitter.com/T3HjiVDiMG— Doggin (@RickyBeBack) March 24, 2022

Fauci Finally Admits Natural Immunity

Yes, Fauci has never worried about consistency or even contradicting himself one day to the next, often without explanation. Too often his doling out “the science” has felt like performance art. Still, the record is that Fauci and all his compatriots either downplayed or denied natural immunity for two years. That has been the source of vast confusion.

And now, Fauci himself let the following slip in an interview on March 23, 2022:

“When you look at the cases they do not appear to be any more severe [than Omicron] and they do not appear to evade immune responses either from vaccine or prior infection.”

What’s critical here is not his debatable claim about vaccines but rather his offhand remark about prior infection. It was tossed off as if: “Everyone knows this.” If so, it is no thanks to him, the CDC, or WHO.

That vid needs to be posted, and reposted, everywhere and often.

What a sham they’ve put this country through. Not to mention the political prisoners they have locked up, without due process. 😢

Well yeah! The American people deserve her. And 8 more at least of her ilk. They rejected an honest President Trump for a known liar and thief. Like the Jews of the Bible when they rejected Jesus for Barabbas . Which is why we are getting what we are getting now. We are getting $ 6.oo a gallon gas and soon be getting $ 10.00 a loaf of bread. But the people are happy. They love their Lying Joe. And hate honest Donald with a passion.

This nominee will be the bane of every [the few remaining] law abiding and decent Citizen. And darling of those who do evil. But that is what happens when evil rules supreme by the will of the people. Asit did in the Coup of 2020. The people sowed to the wind and they shall reap the whirlwind. The best is yet to come. And that is not meant in a good way./p>
