I also expect more bombing by RUAF, dangerous to pilots exposed to continued Ukraine ADA threats, but necessary to bomb civilian targets sufficiently. Also expect Ru heavy bombers to lob more cruse missiles at major cities and potentially targets in W Ukraine they think maybe used to funnel replacement munitions to Uk forces.

Various experts have guessed prior to this invasion that Russia might instead carry out a blockade of Ukraine's Black Sea ports. Well, there are both an invasion and a blockade in place now. Yes, while all eyes are on the invasion, there is also a blockade. This includes both Azov and Black Sea ports. The two Ukrainian ports on the Danube - Izmail and Reni - are working, being the only ones in operation in the entire region of Ukrainian South. The traffic of foreign (non-Ukrainian) ships is frozen. It has been reported that there are 94 ships of various provenance that are currently blocked in Ukr ports. At least 5 ships were shelled by Russian military, both at open sea and at ports, 1 went down (crew saved by Ukrainian boats). In the meantime Russian ports are working overtime. This includes oil tankers from various countries carrying Russian oil from the port of Novorossiysk. In fact, Russia received record numbers of profits from sales of both oil and gas in the days since the start of the invasion. This is some sanctions, which leaves this gigantic loophole for sales and transportation of Russian energy resources.
