Its about tone and messaging. Lets parse the tweet:

“The West is trying to deplatform and debank Russia. This is just as wrong as invading Ukraine.”

No, debanking Russia is not “just as wrong as invading Ukraine”. I think reasonable people can discuss our response and if we should be de-escalating and seeing if we can provde Putin a face saving way out, but equating debanking to invading a country with thousands of ground troops and artillery is just ludicrous.

This is the stuff the MSM latches onto and smears all conservatives with. And yes, i know no one here cares about the MSM, but independents do, and they pay attention to it, and they vote.
