I would assume that’s considered a comorbidity?(pacemaker)
Not sure...

Even if it is a co-morbidity, if there is rationing and you’re white and you’ve been keeping your weight down you’re never going to get treatment unless you’re 90 y.o and even then maybe not. You’ll be competing against obese folks. Obesity has 32 co-morbidities, e.g., diabetes, hypertension. Add up all the points and old skinny white folks will be out of luck

Not really thank you. My arteries, valves, cholesterol, blood chemistries, and blood pressure are all more than ideal. It was purely an electrical valve timing issue. The valves for intake must match timing otherwise the heart either dead-head pumps and gets enlarged, or it fails to build sufficient pumping volume wise. My issue was dead-heading.

Since implant when I was at 22% ejection and an enlarged heart, I am now at 47% ejection and heart has returned to normal size. At age 60 a normal heart is around 45% ejection fraction, so I am super pleased. I feel si much better. I spent six months feeling a perpetual drunk without even drinking. Feeling great now and trusting my cardiologists.

A mechanical pacemaker isn’t a co-morbidity; the heart disease requiring it use, would be.

Here’s my “list”...
1) Heart left ventricle (pumping at 55%),
2) Heart bundle blockage (5 stents),
3) Diabetes (Type 2, down from Type 1),
4) Hypertension (under control w/ Rx),
5) Weight (down from 265 to 165lbs),
6) COPD (under control w/ emergency inhaler),
7) Stage 2 Mild Kidney Disease (medication & diet controlled).
