Good Question.
how does one die from Dementia??>>> YOu forget how to swallow.
Congratulations, my Mom passed at 80, cancer, and my Dad at 96, old age. It’s all relative I guess but 84 seems like a pretty good run. I wish many more years for you to enjoy. Just remember, the best is yet to come.
God Bless.
RIP.
Heart failure was the exact cause according to Wikipedia. Eventually, dementia causes your organs to “forget” how to work.
You mean when it became The Alan Alda Show.
Yes, it quickly became a preach-a-mentary and unfunny.
K.I.A. ?
died with her boots on ?
I thought about that after I hit post but thanks for the confirmation... Makes sense.
Yes you’re right. Depending on what area of the brain is affected a patient loses cognitive ability, speech is affected, motor skills, co ordination.
My mother suffered two strokes from Alzheimer’s fifteen years ago and passed away. It was heart breaking.
RIP.
Loved the shower scene from the movie.
I loved the movie, had no use for the show.
For me, her best role was in the movie “Serial” where she played a serial divorcee. But I also loved her in “Back to School” as the English professor who tutored Rodney Dangerfield.

My Mon suffered a Stroke in 2017 and within three months passed from Dementia that she did not have up to the time point of the Stroke. My sister had several Strokes and died from Dementia a few years before our mom.
Alzheimer's is just one of them but it is often the most severe.
