I saw them in Harrisburg recently.
They aren’t for everyone but I enjoyed it.
I’m a fan. She’s a very talented vocalist even without the growling, which is WAY more difficult than just screaming into a mic, because there is a technique to it; otherwise you mess up your throat. I’ve tried. It’s really hard.
“Pisces” ranks as one of my favorite songs by them. It showcases her abilities as a more traditional vocalist and a growler.
The first time I heard them, I remember thinking that it was amazing, but I wasn’t sure I even liked it. Weird. Her throat singing (for lack of a better term) woven into their metal/fusion music is unique. Does their sound come across well live?
