This kind of petty crap is normal here in Chicago. People are shot for less, like looking at someone funny. Seriously, that one is heard a lot more than it should be. The poor guy; at least he’s still alive for his kid.

It sucks that Chicago has gotten so violent. A friend and I went there about 20 years ago {creak!} to experience staying downtown and taking the “L” to Wrigley Field. We went to two day games, ate and had some cold ones in Wrigleyville afterwards and did touristy things in the evenings like the Navy Pier and Rush Street. We stumbled upon a swing dance festival on Michigan Avenue one evening that was really fun and had some really good deep-dish pizza. I’m glad we went when we did.

More and more they’re showing themselves to be a menace to society in general. All the efforts otherwise adapted for them and they just continue as they are....and they know what they are. Ruining it for any of those who sincerely rise above their culture.
